The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.     CAPS vs. Universal Design 
A Certified Graduate Associate (CGA) learns about the home building business from the best source possible: builders and remodelers with years of field experience.  Earned through classroom instruction, the CGA designation affirms industry knowledge and commitment to professionalism in the building industry.
The Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) is designed to emphasize business and project management skills as the keys to a professional building operation. As a CGB, you become a member of an exclusive national program, gain recognition as an industry leader and call attention to yourself in a crowded marketplace.
The Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) is designed to emphasize business and project management skills as the keys to a professional remodeling operation. The CGR identifies those individuals who exemplify professionalism in the remodeling industry. As a CGR, you become a member of an exclusive national program, gain recognition as an industry leader and call attention to yourself in a crowded marketplace.
The Certified Green Professional (CGP) is designed to teach building industry professionals strategies for incorporating green building principles into homes using cost-effective and affordable options. When you become a CGP, you gain a greater understanding of sustainable building techniques, knowledge of methods to achieve higher energy efficiency, marketing and sales tools specifically tailored to green building and the business practices that foster success.
Sharpen your selling skills, relate to your customer, and distinguish yourself through superior customer service! As a CSP, you will increase your marketability in the home building industry.  This program is also approved in many states for continuing education credit toward your real estate license renewal!
The ultimate symbol of the building professional, the Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation is for experienced veterans only.  The GMB takes your education to the next level, honing your skills in the areas of business management, development and finance. This elite program builds on your experience and helps you push your business to the next level, as well as signifying your commitment to excellence to your clients.
The GMR allows CGRs to attain further recognition for their commitment to educational excellence and longevity in the remodeling industry. The GMR helps you take your company to the next level, giving you the tools to identify opportunities for growth and expand your operations into those areas.

HOW DO YOU GET STARTED?
If you are thinking about obtaining your Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) or Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation, your first step is to take the Builder Assessment Review (BAR) or Professional Remodelers Experience Profile (PREP). 
  
Your BAR or PREP results determine which courses are required for you in order to become a CGB or CGR. You will receive official notice of your results and course requirements by mail.
